Editorial policies

Editorial standards.

The principles that govern GCC Media reporting, access, sourcing, commercial separation, and accountability.

01

Independence and control

GCC Media retains full control over what it covers, how it reports, and whether a story is published.

Editorial control

Coverage, headlines, timing, conclusions, and publication decisions belong exclusively to the editorial desk.

Commercial separation

GCC Studio is the commercial arm of GCC Media and does not influence independent editorial decisions.

Access and hospitality

Credentials, travel, tickets, meals, gifts, or hospitality never guarantee coverage or favorable treatment. Material support is disclosed when relevant.

Sponsored work

Paid, sponsored, or client-supported material is clearly labeled and is never presented as independent editorial coverage.

02

Reporting and verification

Reliable sourcing

Names, dates, figures, technical claims, and material facts are checked against reliable sources, with primary sources preferred whenever available.

Attribution

Information from other publications, companies, public records, research, or interviews is attributed clearly enough for readers to understand its origin.

Fair dealing

Named subjects receive a fair opportunity to respond when a material allegation or disputed claim concerns them.

Anonymous sources

Anonymous sourcing is used only when the information has clear public value and the source faces a credible reason not to be named.

03

Publishing practices

Corrections

Material errors are corrected promptly and transparently under our Corrections Policy.

AI-assisted tools

Digital and AI tools may assist with transcription, research organization, or copy review. No article is published without human editorial review, and generated material is not represented as original reporting.

Photography

Original images are credited. Third-party imagery is used only with permission, a valid license, or another lawful basis, with attribution where required.

Bylines and responsibility

Reported work identifies its author. Editors are responsible for the final accuracy, framing, and presentation of published material.

04

Accountability

Questions about accuracy, standards, or potential conflicts may be sent to press@gccmedia.net. Relevant commercial and professional relationships are addressed under our Disclosures.

GCC Media

Independent reporting requires judgment, transparency, and the willingness to correct the record.
